Wordle Playing Strategy: How to Play Wordle like a Pro

If you are living in 2022 and aware of social media, you have probably heard about the popular game Wordle. People soon got crazy about this game because of its simplicity and challenging nature. It has not had a single complicated rule that spoils players' mood, and people also play it to increase vocabulary.

The game seems challenging, which is it. But instead of playing it blindly, if players follow a simple set of strategies parallel with using their vocabulary skills, the winning rate can not only be improved; it can be boomed up.

OK, now we have all six blank rows; let's start our game by inserting a completely random and repetitive letter word. Just kidding, but surprisingly many players waste their most precious first row by inserting these types of useless words. It is not cool to insert words with non-popular letters (e.g., VIXEN) or words with repetitive letters (e.g., APPLE) in your first guess. What a surprising our final word will be, which has no single vowel form A, E, I, U. Hmm, the word seems interesting, so ADIEU probably played its role well.

As we didn't get any letter from our first guess, I prefer the word FROST for the second

guess as it has some more popular letters like R, S, and T, and now we also covered all the

vowels. If the final word is not from PYGMY and LYNCH, you are now seeing some different

colors other than Grey.

Case2.Got a combination of Grey, Yellow, and Green letters: Now things become

interesting here as we are going to talk about general playing strategy. Please respect the

block colors and believe in your vocabulary skills. The letter with the yellow block is not in

the position but present in the word, so try to include that letter in your every later guess but

keeps changing its location till you find the right one. The Green block letters are present in

the final word with the exact place. So for later guesses, try to insert the word with that

green block letter present in the same correct position.

Keep in mind that you find a green block letter; it doesn't mean that that letter is only

present once in the word. When you are stuck and feel like the final word is out of your

vocabulary knowledge, always think of guessing words with repeating letters.

For the exceptional cases, if you do not have enough strong vocabulary to find out the words

with the fixed position letters, you can try to guess the words deviating yourself from the

rules I described above. Of Course, you will not find the correct word in your first guess by

going for this case, but you can eliminate bad letters for your later guesses.
